Joyce's life has always revolved around the idea of service—service to her clients, service to her community, and service to country.
As a Chartered Financial Consultant and small business owner, Joyce Moore has over 20 years of experience in providing her clients with unbiased investment, estate and retirement planning advice.
As a mother, Joyce was a Cub Scout Den Leader, an Assistant Scoutmaster for BSA Troop 31 in Williams Township, Minsi Trails Council, and a board member of the Spring Garden Children’s School.
As a strong supporter of the communities she has lived in, she is currently a member, and immediate past Chair, of the Upper Milford Township Board of Supervisors. She is also a member of the League of Women Voters, a former president of the league as well as a former Glendon Borough Council Member and Vice President.
A long-time resident of Upper Milford, Joyce has been an active member of the Emmaus Upper Milford Environmental Advisory Council, the Sierra Club, the Appalachian Mountain Club, including as the chair of the Upper Milford Open Space Committee. In February 2021, Joyce was appointed to be the representative for Lehigh County Commissioner District #5 to the Lehigh Valley Planning Commission by County Executive Phillips Armstrong, and was unanimously approved by the Board of Commissioners.
Her service with these stellar organizations has made it clear to Joyce that not only Upper Milford, but Lehigh County as a whole, is one of those precious resources that we must work hard to preserve.
These past three plus years as an Upper Milford Township Supervisor has strengthened Joyce's experience in local government. Joyce Moore is ready to continue serving, this time as your Lehigh County Commissioner from District #5.
